Delayed baggage · LO
LOT still asks for paper. Be ready for it.
The PIR starts at the airport or by QR code; a printed Baggage Questionnaire appears if the search runs long, and purchases claim back within 21 days.
First route
Report the bag.
This creates the tracing record. It does not usually replace the later documented claim.
Report at the Lost & Found office or scan the QR code in the baggage-claim area.
Keep the PIR confirmation and reference number until the case closes.
If the bag is not found in 5 days, the detailed search asks for a completed Baggage Questionnaire.
Second route
Build the claim record.
RecoupLane organises what you confirm. The airline applies its own assessment.
Quote the PIR reference or baggage tag number in every contact.
Keep receipts for purchases made because of the delay.
Claim refunds within 21 days of the bag being claimed.
